His Father was William Porter. He Married Lydia Tolson Of the same Area. His Father was John Porter, His Mother Mary Hambelton. David Moved to Craven,North Carolina. He was from A large family I believe ther was 11 Children and it looks like from research many of them died young. I am researching Porters,Tolson,Garner,Bell,Roberts,Hebert,Oglesby and related families. All seem to be from the Bouge Sound area.Happy to share what I have
