This appears to be the Daniel Lockhart who lived in New Bern, Craven County. The Heritage of Craven County Vol I lists the children of Daniel and Prudence (Patience?) and also mentions a first wife "Mary Turner" with one child Nancy Anne Lockhart. Believe there was a second daughter Sidney A. Lockhart that married Isaac Lewis in New Bern since Isaac Lewis was the Bondsman for Nancy Anne and John B. Lewis. They also lived on the same street in New Bern. Does anyone have access to the Heritage of Carteret County Vol II that has an article on Daniel Henry Lockhart. Does it mention multiple wives and children of each marriage. I have also found an obituary that states that Daniel Lockhart was the husband of Elizabeth Thomas Lockhart who died in 1836.
