I have been wondering if he is connected with the Morse line. One possibility is that he is the son of Josiah Morse. In the 1840 Census Josiah is listed with 1 son age 10-15 where James Riley could fit. Do you know if the Morse line somewhere changed into the Morris line? Any help is much appreciated.
