He is buried at Oceanview Cemetery in Beaufort. He married (1) Maud (last name unknown) and (2) Barbara Adelene Adams on 14 June 1899. Barbara was born 16 June 1873 and died 21 February 1943 in Beaufort, NC. Barbara is buried at St. Paul's Episcopal Cemetery in Beaufort, NC. Children of Harry and Barbara are: 1. Lucy Mayo Parkin, 12 Nov., 1901- 04 June 1972 2. George Thomas Parkin, 23 Nov., 1905 - 29 Dec., 1986 3. Julia Adelene Parkin, 13 Sept., 1908 - 06 Oct., 1984 4. Barbara Maxwell, 16 Sept., 1911 - 10 Nov., 1988 5. Margaret Parkin, April 1900 - 25 Sept., 1900 6. Sarah Parkin, no further information.
