Specifically, In Robert Whitehurst's will (1679) in Virginia he left items to the sons of Isaac Barrington who live with him. Roberts wife, Eleanor then married Edward? Tranter and moved to NC with Roberts son Robert and presumably the Barrington boys. . Robert's son Robert shows up in Carteret County living on Nelson's bay. His neighbor is Nathaniel or Nathan Barrington. These people moved inland in the mid 1700's. Not much exists on this group of people.
