He married first Rachel Nelson in 1901, who died between 1912 and 1920, then married Minnie Willis about 1921-22. There daughter Marguerite was likely named for his mother. His only son by his first wife, William, was living with and Minnie in 1930. I don’t know where his daughters by Rachel were. Minnie appears to be buried in Bayview Cemetery in Morehead City, but not James. Here’s the data from which I drew this conclusion.
