Davis b. 1825, d. 31 Aug 1861 Caldwell Co., NC; & Jane C. Montgomery b. 11 Aug 1825, d. 11 Mar 1917 Caldwell Co., NC. William was the son of James Davis and Mary unknown (possibly Baird or Beard).
