This is an appeal to anyone knowing anything about the land entered by Paulus Anthony at the mouth of Irish Creek and Catawba River in Burke Co. Paulus died about 1805 and his widow died a few years later. I've just come across the note I made while sorting through my files. Any help will be appreciated Some time ago the late Phillip Leonard called to tell me that he had talked to someone who said there were graves with headstones for Paulus and wife on this property. He had long planned to go find those graves but was never able to go there. Have these graves been found and listed anywhere and was these stones actually for our Paulus the immigrant, or are the stones for Paulus, the son or grandson, or nephews? Thanks much, Lorena
