The address is 1000 S Sterling st. Morganton, NC 28655 (828) 433-2111 As with all patients,confidentiality, makes it difficult to obtain information. This type of patient in particular, since there was such a stigma attached. I recommend contacting the hospital directly. If your Uncle died there he maybe buried on the hospital grounds. Your Uncle also would have a death certificate if he died after 1930- this may list his condition he was hospitalized with. Good luck.
