I am looking for my Mills Ancestors. In 1780-1810, they would have lived in Wilkes County but present day Caldwell County. The Mills' lived close to Chestnut Mtn, Strutton Creek, Globe Church, Wolfpen Creek, Upper Dark Bottom close to the Yadkin River. Their neighbors were Strutton, Lenoir, Coffey, etc. There was a Widow Mills in a deed abstract at the foot of Chestnut Mtn. Simon Mills, Hardy Mills, William Mills I & William Mills II all lived in this area from abt 1785 until 1811. I will gladly share what info I have. Please help if possible. Larry Mills
