Osey and the other man were interviewed at the big fiddle competition each year in Ashville. Osey talked about the pending war with Germany and said that Hitler would go down like the Titanic. He said if Hitler came to America he would get his nose shot off. A lot of country twang from one of Americas first transitional fiddle players. Jimmy Rogers played with the Helton String band. He included them in his book. John Pace can tell you lots more. Recently some of Osey's records sold for over 3,000 apiece. They were copies of songs unpublished.
