You're like a Christmas present in August! I never had the names of Moses and Margaret but if they're the parents of Isaac who w/ Sarah somebody were the parents of Hannah and Rachel and Jacob, yes. That's it. Do you have any other infor on Moses and Margaret other than what you gave me in terms of their marriage? I've always wondered what the nationality of the Martins was. I know several Martins now and they all have different ancestral countries. I believe there was a Jesse James too 1790-1850 who married Tabitha Martin (her maiden name) and fathered Charles. There's even a photo of Charles on my tree that I acquired through this bulletin board. I have Isaac as born in Burke NC and died in Lincoln NC. I have his children as all born in NC except for my ancestor Hannah and I have her as MD. That must be an error. I am also missing her death date but have the dates of the others. Hannah and Rachel's husbands were brothers: Charles and Christian Shell and there was a to! wn near McMinnville called Shellsford for them. Is it your Jacob that had the historic house in TN near there that tourists could go through? I have the Shells way back as well as the descendants of Rachel. Would love to share.
