Lucinda Ervin/Erwin was the daughter of Hugh Erwin. She married a John Knox 24 June 1893 in Burke County. John was the son of Billy and Bicky Knox. They had no children. In 1900, she is living in Burke County, listed as married, but no husband is listed. Living with her is Jane Knox who I think is the wife of William H. Knox. I find Lucinda and John in the 1910 and 1920 Burke County census. In 1920 Essie Knox, a child of William H. Knox is living with them. I do not find John, Lucinda, or Sarah Lail in 1930.
