Their father was Isaac Martin of Burks County, NC. Jacob was born Oct 12, 1772 in NC and died Jan. 12, 1860 in Warren County. He married Catherine "Katie" Myers, born 1786 in NC. she was the daughter of Moses Myers of Burke County, NC. Both are buried in Smyrna Cemetery, Warren County. Warren County is considered in Middle Tn and Carter County is located in the edge of Northern East Tn. It joins the line for NC.
