I have found out since that post that the Duckworth was an error. (Somebody decended from him married a Duckworth later.)I was in my California home trying to do this from memory. now I'm back in my other home in Hickory, NC with my old notes from my grandparents. I have found great info on "Renus" (my great grandfather's identical twin) and Rev.Pickney at the Hickory library. I would love to have church photos, especially if it is a building that doesn't exist anymore. Pinkney is my gg grandfather. I am through Socrates Alonzo "Lon", the twin of "Renus", and his son William Alexander (my grandfather), then my mother Frances Whitener. My uncle is artist Paul Whitener who founded the Hickory Museum of Art. I would also be interested in something on the Brendle family. Haven't found anything yet.
