Thanks Ann, I appreciate your responding. The Matthew (black)buried at HCOG/Hartland cemetery, (m/Cordie Sudderth), was my g/father, and s/of Mathew & Susan Lou ?-Bristol. Mathew & Susan Bristol were buried at a cemetery, at a church of this time, called Slone Chapel(probably not recorded in any of the BC-cemetery books. I have no proof of her maiden name, family history is that it was, McCombs, (and she was of the Cherokee Nation.) I thought if there was a marriage bond, death cert., etc, that it may show her maiden name. Bristol County of death: Burke DOB: 1917 DOD: 16 Jan 1919 Age: 2 yrs. NC Birth Index: Addie Elva Bristol DOB: 16 Dec. 1889 County: Burke Father: Mathew Bristol Mother: Susan Bristol Volume: 58 Ethnicity for both is listed as black.
