Your Pearl is also in the SSDI, but her first name is spelled "Pearle" on that record and on her death certificate at the Burke Register of Deeds. The Register of Deeds has an online index now [ http://rod.co.burke.nc.us/ ] where you can search births, marriages and deaths, along with more recent property transactions.
