I know of one who was born 16 Jul 1925 to Merrit "Linzie" JOHNSON and Margaret Jane BENFIELD. This John Fleming JOHNSON married Maude Marie HARMON and had two dtrs named Sharon Kay and Margret Laverna JOHNSON. I have recently learned of a different John Fleming JOHNSON who married Mary HICKS and had 4 children: Dewey b 1898, Ronald, Maude, and Carl JOHNSON. Hicks as a Benfield with parents as Conrad Alexander and Catherine Dockery Benfield. Could Hicks be through a prior marriage. Emsley Sr. died abt. 1849 in the same area that he was born and raised. His wife, Jane, died 04 Jul 1903. It is believed that Emsley was Jane's first of five husbands. He died and left her a widow. Emsley and Jane had at least 4 children: Elizabeth "Betsy" ISAACS b 1842 d 1932, Richard H. ISAACS b 1844 d 1918, Lilly Ann ISAACS b 1845 d 1935, and Emsley ISAACS, Jr. b abt. 1849 d 1920.
