I am trying to determine if there were multiple John Fleming JOHNSONs that descend from Abraham JOHNSON b abt 1787 and d 15 Oct 1881 and his wife Jane McKINNEY b 1794 and d 10 Jul 1880. I know of one who was born 16 Jul 1925 to Merrit "Linzie" JOHNSON and Margaret Jane BENFIELD. This John Fleming JOHNSON married Maude Marie HARMON and had two dtrs named Sharon Kay and Margret Laverna JOHNSON. I have recently learned of a different John Fleming JOHNSON who married Mary HICKS and had 4 children: Dewey b 1898, Ronald, Maude, and Carl JOHNSON.
