Hello, I have been going throught the 1790 Census for Burke County, NC... there are 11 pages of names, but no townships are indicated. However, I notice that the Census is divided up into Companies, e.g., 11th comp., 12th comp.. Does anyone know what areas of Burke the various companies might represent. If not known directly, perhaps company areas can be inferred by surnames in known areas of Burke. Thanks, George
