(Her last name according to family history was McCombs/and she was of the Cherokee nation. ?They where both born in NC According to the census(Burke County N.C.) 1870 census shows them living with Mathew's mom as ; Math 28 & Susan 20. First child recorded was b/abt 1866, 1900 & 1910 census show Mathew alone with children, youngest child recorded was b abt? 1893 Also looking for a death certificate for Susan. ?
