I don't have any information about Isaac's parents, but he and Mary had a son named James S. Perkins who was born in Georgia before Isaac left for Illinois. In 1870, Isaac was in Hutsonville, IL and after that he was living in Jasper Co., until his death in 1893. James S. married Ora Whitehurst. Their son Lawrence Frederick was the father of one of my Aunts, Geraldine Perkins Orman. My cousins are very interested in learning more about Isaac.
