He says he was born in 1750, but fails to mention where. Our family history indicates he was born November 19, in Pennsylvania. I am still searching to validate his birthplace and names of parents. He married Sarah "Sally" Raburn (Rabourne), daughter of Thomas and Kiziah Raburn. Brother-in-law John Raburn was killed serving in the same regiment as William Morris, Senior. I am descended from his son, John, who married Margaret Elizabeth Patton; both are buried at Bethel Baptist Church, Burke > McDowell County, NC. William Morris, Senior filed his Will in Burke Co, 1837 naming as Legatees - his wife, children of deceased son, William, children of deceased daughter, Mary "Polly" Bradley, John living in Burke named as Executor, Elijah married to Nancy Allen living as resident in TX, Henry married to Catherine living in Burke, Isaac married to Charity Patton (sister ! of Margaret Elizabeth Patton) living in Burke, daughter Kiziah (Kizz) married to Mitchell Parham, and daughter Nancy married to Hugh Spurling. William Senior died spring 1844; Will was probated in the fall, 1844. I have geneaology of all except "deceased son, William," who I believe to have been the first child borne to William, Senior, and Sarah "Sally" Raburn.
