Go check out the Gowan Foundation which is a genealogy site that has great information for the surnames Goans, Goins, Goings, Gowin, Gowan, etc, as these surnames have been given various spellings. Just type in Gowan Foundation in any search engine, and it will bring up the link to the site..I am thinking it is www.llano.net, but I am not sure...I found alot of information about my Goins ancestors there..Also, you dont have to sign up to be a member, just type in your ancestor's name in the search engine at the bottom right of the page.
