They lived in Burke Co. the same time my Ambrose Williams and his children did. I think one of the Brittain children married a Williams producing several by the name of Brittain Williams that I have found in various places- one State in the South and one in MO at a later time, I believe, but I will have to dig all that research out. I'm inclined to believe there is a connection between the Williams and Brittains of Burke Co., NC or in another state previously. Do you have any Williams/Brittain marriages in your line?
