Here are my questions: 1. Is Thomas related to the Powellton family -- Elias, Ambrose, Benjamin, Elijah Powell, James and John. Some sources show a Thomas as a brother of Elias Jr and Ambrose, and other sources omit him. He apparently inherited John Powell's Burke County land when he died in about 1782, and thus may have been his son or grandson. 2. What are the names of Thomas' wife and children? 3. Did Thomas move to Maury County TN with Ambrose and his family? I am trying to determine if this is the same Thomas Powell who died in 1815 in Maury County, TN, leaving wife Flora, and children, Elisha, Zepporrah, Flora and Sarah.
