The above three sons are the children of Elizabeth "Lizzie" TUCKER- daughter of Alice aka Jemima SMITH and John TUCKER both of Burke County and George Washington "Wash" ABERNATHY. This couple lived in Burke County. I believe Lizzie died in the Silver Creek Twp of the County in January of 1931. This couple is buried in the Hildebran First Baptist Church Cemetery in Hildebran, NC. Are there great -or- grand children of J. Daniel, William Robert, or Foster Robert ABERNATHY that would be willing to exchange whatever information is available about Alice aka Jemima SMITH? She is also the mother of my grandfather Thomas Augustus SMITH. 1873-1950 who is buried here in Cherryville, NC. Thank You.
