I just received some photos from my cousin (she lives in Morganton) of the Mooney markers at Hopewell Baptist Church, on Hopewell Church Road in Morganton, North Carolina and there are a few that I can't place. Maybe you can help me. I can't place these: Alice M. Mooney b: July 7, 1878 - d: Sept 29, 1917 (can't see the exact date of death, grass covering it somewhat, month and year are clear, Who did she marry?). Charlie b: Oct 1, 190_ (really weather worn at the last digit) d: July 26, 1901 s/o R. D. & Alice Mooney (who are R. D. & Alice?) Florence L. b: July 24, 1899 - d: Jan 24, 1900 d/o R.D. & Alice Mooney Mattie E. Mooney b: Feb 29, 1896 - d: July 22, 1990 (Who is this?) Walter L. Mooney, Jr. (this is a military marker and I can only read, CPL, CO B 105 ENGR C REGT, who is his parents, g-parents?) Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
