John had a brother named Allen,and Allen had to sons named Bob and Finnie. I know everything about John's decendants, nothing of Allen's whereabouts except he was suppose to be a merchant at West Point, Ms. I have thousands of pages of Haley's in Va.,Tn.,Ms. in the 1800s, but unable to find John Jesse Haley's parents. John was born in Tn., June 1, 1831. Would you know who Elizabeth Haley's parents were? I don't know anything about his parents or siblings. Here are the names of his children ans wife. Solomon Pearson Cooper age 46 Rebecca ? age 46 Robert age 24 Charles age 21 Martha age 15 Thomas my line age 14 John age 13 James age 8 Then in the 1860 census in Morganton,Burke CO., N.C. Solomon is not there I assume he has died all the boys were Brick Masons. Rebecca age 58 Martha age 25 Robert age 23 Thomas Spouse - Mary Adaline Green age 22 John age 21 Spouse - Barbara James age 16 John and Barbara Pearson had two daughters they were Ida, and Rebecca Pearson one of the girls married a last name of Henry I don't know his first name but they had at least two children maybe more one was a daughter Gypsy Henry 3 - 1885 and as son John Henry born 1 - 1890. He was born abt. 1810 in Fentress, TN. At least the word looks like "Fentres" on his marriage cert. He was married to an Elizabeth in 1850 census for Bledsoe Co. TN. He is a widower in the 1860 Putnam Co Census. He and his children are living with vaious Bohannon families in this 1860 census, including Alexander Bohannon's family. James children are Shelby b. 1842, James G. 1847, Thomas b. 1848, Eliza J. b. 1850, Lewis L. b. 1856, and John P. b. 1859. James Robinson's daughter, Eliza Jane Robinson Bryant b. 1850 is my g.g. grandmother. James & family moved to Kentucky. Widower James married in 1864 in Pulaski Co, KY to widow Edith Bryant Slaughter b. 1818/23 in TN. James daughter Eliza J. married in 1864 to Edith Bryant's nephew, James Bryant b. 1845/6. This James Briant also in Putnam 1860 census. I am looking for connection to Bohannon family with whom James Robinson & family lived in Putnam. Any help ap! preciated.
