And did I mention that the first job I ever had was selling used newspapers to Mr. Cain down at the Fish Market near Kermit's Grocery? He used them to wrap fish in. I can also remember Mrs. Regan at the library, Mr. Helms at the Rowe Theater, Mr. Russ who sold peanuts, Mr. Jesse Inman at Inman's Grocery, and Dannio's Dairio. My teachers were Mrs. Johnson, Mrs Fisher, Mrs. Jessup and Mrs. Pegram in that order from the first grade. My Daddy was friends with Mr. Gordon Kinlaw at the Funeral Home. We lived at the corner of Cyprus Street and Rinaldi Street......that was up the hill from Mr. McCormick's blacksmith shop and Paul Sessom's warehouse.....next door to Jerry Register.
