MEMORIAL FOR ELIZABETH "LIB" TURNER Many of you may already know that Elizabeth "Lib" Turner died this fall. Lib was a tireless worker on behalf of the Bladen County Historical Society. We are attempting to create a memorial for "Lib" and are inviting all to consider a memorial gift in her name. Monies for this will be used for the purchase of "archival folders & boxes" to be used for preserving documents held by the Bladen County Historical Society. These would include such irreplaceable treasures as the diary of Elizabeth Ellis Robeson and family Bibles. I talked with Seth Lewis, vice-chairman of the BCHS, and he feels this is a worthwhile project.
