John, If you have the time, the Fayetteville Library has a fantastic genealogy room. You might want to check out what they may have on your line. I cannot give you directions since I don't live there but I have visited the library one time several years ago and it was well worth the visit. If I am not mistaken, the Bladenbore Museum is open on Saturday and Sunday only from 2-4. Good luck in your search and have a great visit. Carol, Thanks for the advice. I am going to the Bladenboro Museum Saturday afternoon and maybe again Sunday if necessary. I am planning on going to Fayetteville Sunday also, but the library won't be open that day. Not sure if I will have time to get by there, maybe next time.
