I am not sure if it is close to the school or not. I don't live close to it, I just know it is my aunt and uncles property.I live in Salisbury, NC now, and use to live in White Oak. Like I said I am not sure they will be receptive at all to visitors or questions, so I would not suggest you go back in there if you can find out for sure where it is. I wish I could help you out more, but I do not know the area well. There use to be a lady who worked at the Munn and Munn's neighborhood store who knew where it was. I am not sure she would be there any more. That was about 20 years ago when I was trying to find it and got lost in a HORRIBLE rain storm like they only have in Bladen County.I know it is not far from Munn and Munn's though. That is about the best I can give on directions. I have not been hiding for 45 years believe me. I am only 47 so that explains part of it and I do not research Munn. I just notice it since my aunt was a Munn. I w! ish you luck. Please let me know if you find it. If you do and someone knows where it is I would highly suggest you call first if you attempt to go back in there. If they know the location they would also know the name of the ones who live there. I hesitate to post that since I do not know how they will feel about this. Hope you can understand. If there is anything further I can do to help you out, I will try, but I am not sure there will be much. I can tell you the little I know about the plantation and some of the things found there and that is about all. There is a little more about the plantation itself, but not much that I know. Take Care, Sharon Dover Romanek
