The area of my map page is into BLADEN, through CUMBERLAND and up to CHATHAM. 1. Can anyone tell me what book that map came from? 2. John Brooks was a Lumbee Indian ancestor who took title to 1000 acres in 1735 (The Only Land I Know by Dial and Eliades). John Brooks' descendents are Lumbees who still live in Robeson County.
