The only thing I have is his marriage to my GGrandmother Alcey E Britt in 1850, Columbia Co., AR. I've been told that he might have been born in Bladen Co, NC His name was Martin (Martain) Vanburen Sutton, the year of his birth was 1839 or 1840 , just got this from working back on info on marriage cert. . I was told that he died in the Civil War and that my Grandmother was his only child. I've had absolutely no luck in finding who his parents were and it's really driving me nuts !!! I've heard that he might have had a sister named Mary and she married Jim Wise ????? Is there any way you can help me???? It would be deeply appreciated. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your trouble, Sandy Dodson Tomlin
