Does anyone have and idea or better yet documentation on the parents of Anna Singletary? I have Thomas's parents as John Russ and Mary Singletary. Deborah Byrd

Are you referring to Anne Singletary that was the widow of James Singletary? If that is who you are referring to, I think that there has long been dissagreement over who her paarents were and who she was. Excuse me I realize that I wasn't clear. Anna Singletary wife of Thomas Russ, their daughter Mary Russ married George Melvin. The Melvins spent time moving back and forth across the NC SC border into Marion County SC and Bladen NC.
