when I attempted to post a > new message & a reply I had to log in. It stated "In order to use this > feature you must be a registered user". > Can you help with that.....? The registered user part should be the log in where you create an idenity for yourself. If you are a subscriber to the pay side of ancestry you can use that identity on the free side which is rootsweb. The idenity will allow you to change your address and name, if you ever want or need to, on all of your new posts. Since I am a cc in another couple of states and a subscriber to the pay side, I didn't have the problem becoming a registered user. Click on the register tab at the top of the ancestry page or enter through rootsweb and look for a tab on the main board page for registration. Deborah Byrd
