My two cents here. Not sure it is of any use. My Williams line which also connects to the Butler line wound up in Ga as well Fran. 19th District, Decatur Co. Ga. Blew my mind when I realized it. I figured my poor little Sampson Co Reddin Williams would always be in Sampson Co till I got convinced it was him. His father was John Nathan Williams & his mother was Anna Jane Butler. I have John's father as Robert but do not have a mother for John in my files. Have not had time to work on the Butler or Williams line in depth yet. Hope this helps some. It seems to me that Parris BUTLER just one day dropped from the skies and landed in Baker Co., GA and the next year he was gone and I have not found him since! As a possible note of interest, Parris' several close neighbors were from Sampson Co., NC. Thanks for the info.
