    3. Hi Don! I have only a Joshua Kemp Montgomery County, GA who was granted two separate passports to through the Cherokee Nation in 1806, one of the times he was accompanied by Benjamin and Frederick Hadley, and Thomas Travis. Do you have the entry on the Kemps from GONE TO GEORGIA? I also have John, William and Thomas in # 98. Rachel, Solomon and Sarah Kemp are shown in # 138, a book that genealogists refer to as "Big Red". Let me know - it was good to hear from you again. Johnson <jbjpltx@home.com> Sent: Sunday, June 10, 2001 1:13 PM Subject: Kemp / Cox / Johnson Hi Dee, my ancestor Jonathan Kemp and his wife Elizabeth Cox would have left in about 1800 Burke County GA to go to Saint Helena Parish, LA. Also, a Johnson family left Georgia a bit later with two young children; William D and Elizabeth Johnson and maybe a Hanson H. Johnson for the same area [Pike Co., MS or St. Helena Parish, LA]. Please see if these names appear in Number 96. Kemp could be Camp, Kamp, or Kampf. Don't do a lot of typing as I feel sure someone must have checked Kemp with all the reseach that has been done on Jonathan Kemp. BOOK 96. PASSPORTS ISSUED BY GOVERNORS OF GEORGIA, 1785 TO 1809 I copied your recent posting on the will of James James to the Duplin list. I knew of the will but had not seen the complete abstract. Thanks Take Care Don Dunnington
