Is there anyone on the list who is connected to this family? If so I would very much like to share. I believe G.W. Jackson in the below notes to be my 3rd great grandfather. I would very much like to be able to prove this line. Thanks in advance for any help. Sharon Dover Romanek Source: 1860 Bladen County, North Carolina Census Some of this does not match to be the proper family for Sarah Jackson, who is said to be the child of G.W. Jackson and Anna Sophia Davis. Some of the children in this household are the same as the 1870, so I belive it to be the same family, but possibly a different wife. Possibly G.W. married three times. Also, Randol in this census I believe should be Randolph in the 1870 and there is an error in the age if that is so. NEEDS FURTHER RESEARCH!! See below 1870 census as well. House: # 524 George W. It does not however list the mother I have listed for her in my files, and who is listed in Bladen County Cemetery records as her mother. I suspect that if it is the correct family that G.W. was married more than one time. This household is not listed as being anywhere near any of the Ray family she married into. The Ray family is listed in house 57. I believe that would be quiet a distance apart but do not know for sure. House #25 Jackson, G.W. W M 11 NC ==================== Source: 1900 Bladen County Census, White Oak Township Just as the above this MAY not be the correct Jackson family, but it list the same children as in previous records and I believe it is the correct family. The dates and names match those of his daughter Sarah's records who married Clemant Ray. She was not present in the 1860 since she would not have been born yet. She is however present in the 1870 and would marry Clemant about 1883. Based on this information I am adding the siblings shown in the census with this family. I believe Anna in the 1860 census listed as wife is Anna Sophia Davis and Mary E. in the 1870 may have been a second wife, although there is no proof of that fact.
