The first McNair I have recorded in North Carolina is John McNair, born in Scotland in 1735 and died in Richmond Co., NC 6-30-1819. The only recorded children I have for him and his wife Catherine Buie are:Sarah Ann McNair and Malcolm P. McNair. My line comes from Malcolm and his wife Jennett Little McNair. I cannot find your person in my data base, but that does not mean that he could not have come from the same line. Keep in touch and if I run across anything on your person, I will contact you.
