I did some research at the courthouse yesterday on David Young and his 2nd wife who was a Singletary. Some Singletary researchers have listed her as Elizabeth Singletary and others as Nancy "Sidney" Singletary. One deed clearly identifies her as Elizabeth Singletary, the daughter of Richard Singletary. Several other deeds with David Young and the Singletarys confirm this connection. I had previously obtained from other sources that Elizabeth was the daughter of John Singletary, but this is incorrect. There were a couple of records for Sidney B. Young but I'm not sure how he/she connects. Any input on this is appreciated. I have never been able to trace my Singletary ancestry. David Young and Elizabeth Singletary's son, John Young, was my ancestor. John married Elizabeth "Betsy" Singletary and I also have no idea how she connects to the Singletary line. Jason Bordeaux
