Now I am really confused! I just ran off the will of John BUTLER, in which he describes his wife as being Elizabeth G.-----. My 4x ggf was Samuel Johnson, whose dau was Elizabeth GAINOR JOHNSON. My family data says she married John B BUTLER ca 1854. The will describes his children, "eldest son" James A, "2nd dau" Elizabeth G, John T, Nepsey W, and then his three "youngest children" Charles T, Martha Ann, and George E. Then it goes on to describe his 7 children by his last wife: Robert Q, Thomas V, Charles T, George E, Sallie F, Isabel and Martha Ann. What am I not seeing here? If James A was his eldest son, who was Robert Q? How could his 3 youngest children be the same names as those of the children of his "last" wife? Help!
