I was told that she was buried in Tatum, N.C. or Tar Heel but they thought it was Tatum. Anyway, Thelma was buried sometime in the late 30's early 40's. Her husband was Bobby Smoaks and she had one son. She was buried at a church that had a cemetary either in the front or the side of the church because Thelma was buried right up close to a paved road in the front of the cemetary.
