The Lees of Bladen were cut into Robeson County when it was created in 1787. I believe that Joshua Sr. is the son of Jesse Lee d. 1770 and the sister of Obedience Lee wife of Willam Starling in the area that became Robeson. I can't find my Lee folder to check the Robeson County Deed which lists the children of Jesse Lee. Deborah Byrd
