Cornelia, I don't know how many of these e-mail addresses are still viable but these people would certainly be a good start. MCDONALD: Renee Bradfield (GA) steve1@zebra.net Donnie McDonald (Cumberland) dmacd@marlboroelectric.net Marsha Ford (GA, Bladen) meandsteve@cybertrails.com Lou Marsh (GA) Marsh29461@aol.com Debbie Rodgers (Bladen) butterfly4108@webtv.net Lynn Hicks (Bladen) hicks@mohawk.net Another approach is to click on the URL below my name, scroll down the menu to mailing list and then type in McDonald and search for each year shown. If you still need help, just yell. Bob Quinn of Florida is trying to get some direction, and I am trying to help him. His ancestor, (uncle) ARCHIBALD MCDONALD, was born in Argylshire, Scotland in approximately 1779. He first lived on the Big Swamp in Bladen County near the place known (in 1899) as Maysville. He was ordained as an elder at St. Pauls Presbyterian Church in 1828. He died in 2 June 1855. His oldest son, Alexander, m. Martha Green Clark. His daugher, Sally McDonald married John McIntyre. In 1850, Archibald's son, Archibald I. McDonald and wife Eliza, are living on a farm in Hollow Township, an area of northwest Bladen County. Arch McDonald's grandson, Malcom McDonald served as a Robeson County Deputy sheriff, and Archibald D. McDonald was the Bladen County Registrar of Deeds. If you know of this person, or whom Bob might contact in this regard, he and I would appreciate it. Cornelia Holmes
