I presently live in the Princess Ann community near Orrum, N.C. I grew up in the Smiths community across from Zion's Hill Church. I would be very grateful for any information you will give me. My father was Elbert Sessoms, his father was John Alexander (Sandy) Sessoms, son of John (Jack) William Sessoms a son of Rev. Robert Melvin Sessoms. I do not know the names of R.M.'s other children. As for the parents of R.M., I do not know. Ms. Doris Johnson who spoke at Hickory Grove on R.M. thinks he may have been from New Bern. I hope that we can exchange infromation.
