William B. Sutton b. 3/17/1781 d.6/1/1845 and Elizabeth Corbett b. 6/3/1778 d. 7/21/1845 had a daughter, Martha J. Sutton b. 1819 Bladen Co, NC who m. Thomas J. Corbett b. Abt 1824. William B. Sutton's Will was written 1/28/1841. He includes a bequeath in the will to his wife and two daughters but only references them as "wife and two daughters". He provides bequeaths to his son "William T" by name. He also states "appoint my Son William T. Sutton and Thomas J. Corbett Executors": Witnesses: G.W. Bannerman, Samuuel Smith. If this is the Thomas Corbett you are refering to please get back in touch with me and especially if you an your cousin are researching the Sutton family. This was probably in the 1700s. I live in Clarendon County, and my cousin, Glenn Corbett, has traced the Corbett family back to a Thomas Corbett from Bladen County, but that's as far as he has gotten.
