Hello Rana and Rick: I have checked all my Bladen James WEST records and found nothing of a marriage between Elizabeth Robson/Robeson/Robinson and James WEST of any year. In 1830 there were in Bladen about three, maybe four WEST men named James. Excepting James of Bladen who was born ca 1753, spouses of the other James WEST men have been identified. I will add that a correspondent sent to me record of a marriage between a James WEST of Lincoln County and Elizabeth ROBESON of that same county. The correspondent did not cite her source, nor did she cite the year of the marriage, but the names are the same/similar. Unless you are 100% positive the marriage record you seek occurred in Bladen County, North Carolina, perhaps locating that marriage record would be worthwhile?
