From you advise I think I have found Holland's father. He is Thomas, son of Aaron and Mary Lewis and grandson of Josisah and Lucy Ann Lewis. Thomas is age 11 in 1800 and is just 7 doors from Benjamin's house. We have proximity, opportunity and hormones to get the job done and don't forget the DNA that led me to look here. The kicker is as you can see in the 1850 Anson census Holland named his first son Thomas. This is not a name used in the Haney family. There is a good chance Thomas Lewis is the guy and I need to learn what I can about him.
